The Secondary Ignition Tester allows the CJ4 oscilloscope function to measure the Kilovolts value of ignition systems with Distributorless system(DIS) or conventional ones.

The Secondary ignition tester 9257 obtains the signal using a capacitive clip and a conditioning circuit in order to deliver a readeable waveform to the CJ4 oscilloscope.

A bar graph, waveform and a KV average value is displayed.

Screenshots can be saved to be included in reports or sent by internet.

A switch position must be selected in DIS systems in order to catch positive and negative waveforms.
